Holiday Happenings in Our Wilmington Community

Street Smart knows you have been working hard this year to keep on top of the clutter and keep organized. We want to help most of all this time of year. Whether you need supplies to box up the clutter or you need some advice on making room in your house, we are here for you. Another way we thought we could help would be to find a fun family friendly event for the holidays. Our Wilmington community has holiday happenings to do during this time of year to keep the blues away.

From December 1st to December 3rd stop at the Poplar Grove Plantation for a Candlelight Christmas. Once you arrive you will be greeted by a fully decorated plantation ready for the holidays. You will go on a guided candlelight tour of the Manor house. The tour is limited to 15 people per hour. After the tour is over join everyone in the courtyard for light refreshments and holiday goodies. Reserve your spot today by calling them or visiting their website.

On December 2nd the Brooklyn Arts Center will be hosting their Holiday Flea. You can find a wide range of gifts for all those in your family that may be difficult to buy for. The Flea will have a variety of vintage and up-cycled treasures plus delicious local food trucks. The tickets only cost $5.00 and are good for all three days. The flea will start on Friday at 3 pm and end on Sunday at 5 pm. Check their website for time details and to check out all the exciting events the BAC is having this holiday season.
